Does anyone realize that the minimum wage laws in the US were created to provide people with some income while they sought better work, or education, or brief departures from the normal work force? They were never intended to provide the income for full-time support, to raise a family, to lead a middle-class life.
And to suggest that what works in Denmark, or Fiji, or Iceland is applicable to the US is sheer nonsense, unless you also believe that an overwater airliner can fly on solar power.
